Description
6 and 8 Battlehill are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall and feature two plus one windows. They are constructed of painted brick and have chamfered quoins, sill bands, and a moulded cast iron gutter. The sash windows are single hung on the second floor and include glazing bars. There are two modern shop fronts and a through passage located off centre to the left. At the rear, there are two gabled extensions made of stone, along with two-storey glazing bar sash stair windows in the well. Additionally, the rear includes four sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Nos 2 to 8 (even) form a group.
