Description
Trinity Methodist Church and Church Hall, built around 1880, is a two-storey building with three bays. The wide central bay features a gable end facing the street, flanked by spirelets that cap panelled hexagonal shafts above panelled buttresses. On either side of the three central lancets, which all have labels, are two lancets. The central entrance has a pointed moulded arch supported by two marble nook shafts and is topped by a gable with flanking spirelets. The side bays contain paired lancets, and the building has a crested ridge. At the rear, the church extends into a large hall that was built at the same time. This church and hall, along with Nos 1 to 9 Beaumont Street, The Queen's Hall, and Town Hall Buildings, form a group of local interest.
