Description

PERCY TERRACE 1. 5330 (East Side) Hope House and Kincraig NU 1812 NE 5/400 II GV 2. Early C19 pair. Two storeys and 5 windows facing south. Two being 3 light bows at ends of elevation. Ashlar with band over ground floor, moulded cornice and blocking course. Hipped slate roof with 2 stone chimneys. Hope House retains glazing bar sash windows. Kincraig resashed with plate glass. Doorways, set in channelled rustication which breaks forward slightly, have segmental arches with vermiculated keystones. Fluted Doric pilasters to 4 panel doors having segmental lights above with circular glazing. Hope House has a 2 window return to the street with ground floor band and cornice and this is extended by a lower 2 storey 2 window annexe to rear doors and garage.
