Description
No 4 South Street is an early to mid-19th century building. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The exterior is made of ashlar stone, with a band above the ground floor and an eaves band that has semi-circular footstops at the coped verges. The roof is slate, with one brick chimney and one stone chimney. The windows are glazing bar sash types, with recessed panelled aprons below the band on the first floor and a segmental head above the ground floor window. To the right, there is a doorway set within a segmental headed reveal, featuring a moulded lintel and a six-panel door.
