Description

Linhope House is a mid-19th century building located on South Street. It is two storeys high and features three windows on its south side, set back from the street. The exterior is made of ashlar stone and has a hipped slate roof supported by paired cut brackets at the eaves. There are two ashlar chimneys located off the ridge. The windows are glazing bar sash types, and on the ground floor to the left, there is a three-light canted bay window topped with a decorative slate roof. The central doorway is plain and contains a six-panel door.
