Description

1 South Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high. It features three windows on the south side and one on the west. The exterior is made of ashlar stone and includes an eaves band. The roof is slate, hipped at the corner, and has three chimneys that rise from the ridge. The windows are glazing bar sash windows. The central entrance is marked by a boldly rusticated round-headed doorway, which has a six-panel door, side pilasters made from segments of Doric columns, and a spoked fanlight above. There is also a side door leading into a plain single-storey annexe.
