Description

Northfield is an early 19th-century building located on Matlock Road. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars on the top floor. On the ground floor, there are two late 19th or early 20th-century bay windows that flank a central doorway. The doorway has a coved archivolt, a six-panelled door, and a radial fanlight with tracery.
