Description

This is a corn drying kiln located about 5 yards east of Holburn Mill, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from dressed stone and features tooled-and-margined ashlar quoins, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is square and has two storeys. On the ground floor, the kiln includes a triangular-headed drawing arch with a lean-to porch in front. There are small ventilation windows situated just below the eaves on the drying floor. The roof is hipped on the left side.
