Description
The corn-drying kiln, dating from the early 19th century, is located to the south of Edlingham Abberwick Mill. It is constructed from squared tooled stone and features a Welsh slate roof. This detached square structure has a small casement window on the east elevation, along with an external stone stair leading to a central boarded door that is flanked by small rectangular vents. The roof is truncated pyramidal in shape. On the south wall, there is a boarded door and a vent on the first floor. The north wall has a small window and two first-floor vents, while the west wall contains only a first-floor vent. An adjacent shed to the south and a wooden garage to the west are not of special interest.
