Description

The gate piers and screen walls located to the east of Bolton Hall date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from tooled-and-margined stone. The square gate piers feature moulded plinths and moulded caps topped with ball finials on swept bases. The quadrant walls have plinths and low-pitched coping, connecting to the outer piers, which also have plinths and banded pyramidal caps.
