Description
This is a farm building dating from the early 19th century, located to the east of South Hazelrigg Farmhouse. It is constructed from dressed stone and has Welsh slate roofs. The building features a long two-storey range at the rear, which includes two pairs of segmental arches on the left and two pairs on the right of a central barn that has a large entrance with a sliding door. There are also two-storey, L-shaped barns that project from the left and right sides, creating a quadrangle that is partly open on the fourth side. Additionally, three cow sheds and yards extend from the rear range, but not as far, partially filling in the courtyard. Opposite the open side of the farmyard, there is another range that has six segmental arches on the left and six on the right, with a staircase leading to storerooms above.
