Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with dressed stone used for door and window surrounds. The roof is covered in pantiles. The cottage is two storeys high. The central doorway is flanked by sash windows. Two dormers break the roofline; these openings were added in the early 19th century. At the rear, an off-centre doorway has a 19th-century surround, alongside one small sash window and a blocked fire window. On the first floor, four small, blocked windows are situated close under the eaves.

The garden wall features very steeply ridged coping.

A shed has a double carriage entrance supported by square stone pillars and stone lintels; this appears to be a later addition. A small square window is visible to a separate room on the right. Internally, there is some evidence of a former fireplace.
