Description

This limekiln, located 30 metres north of the junction with the road to Lincoln Hill, likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed, roughly-squared stone and features a pair of gable-headed drawing arches that are corbelled down to small square openings. The pot of the limekiln was inaccessible during the survey due to dense, spiky vegetation.
