Description

The garden pavilion, located approximately 50 yards north of Tillmouth Park Hotel, dates from the late 19th century to early 20th century. It is constructed of ashlar and wood, topped with a copper roof. The pavilion is small and square, featuring a low stone balustrade around three sides, which includes urn balusters and moulded coping. Each corner is adorned with wooden Corinthian columns that have faces carved into the capitals. The structure has cambered wooden lintels that support a domed roof with swept eaves, and it is topped with a weather vane shaped like a ship.
