Description

Twizell Bridge is a 15th-century bridge located in Cornhill-on-Tweed. It is constructed of squared stone and features a high round arch with a single span of 90 feet. The arch is reinforced by five closely spaced chamfered ribs. There are later low flood arches on each side, along with a later parapet and a dentil cornice. The bridge is situated in an extremely impressive setting. It is also located within Duddo Parish.
