Description

Ladykirk and Norham Bridge, built between 1885 and 1887, is a bridge featuring rock-faced stonework with ashlar dressings. It has four broad segmental arches. The central cutwater is apsidal and extends to create an apsidal projection in the parapet. The outer cutwaters are triangular and broached. The bridge has a plain parapet that slightly projects over a corbel table. The end walls are higher and slightly concave in plan, with large octagonal end piers.
