Description

The property comprises an 18th-century farmhouse with an attached cottage, altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with a Welsh slate roof and a boulder plinth.

The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three wide bays. A Victorian-era central door is set beneath a wooden hood with decorative bargeboards, and is framed by alternating-block surrounds. The windows are renewed 6-pane sashes with alternating-block surrounds. A small, blocked window is located to the right of the door. The roof is gabled with flat coping and two stone end stacks.

To the left of the farmhouse is a lower, two-bay cottage. It has a plank door on the left side and a 24-pane Yorkshire sash window to the right. Above these are two 12-pane Yorkshire sash windows. A projecting range to the left has a blank front wall and a single 6-pane sash window on each floor, placed asymmetrically, and a hipped roof.
