Description

The property comprises a farmhouse, a hind’s cottage, and adjacent farm buildings, dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The farmhouse is constructed of sandstone rubble to the ground floor, with a rendered brick first floor, and has ashlar dressings. The hind’s cottage is of sandstone rubble construction with some brick, also with ashlar dressings. The farm buildings are of rubble construction. The farmhouse and farm buildings have a Welsh slate roof, while the hind's cottage has a concrete tile roof.

The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four windows. A central entrance has a hardboard-covered door and a four-paned overlight, flanked by sash windows with glazing bars, flat stone lintels, and projecting stone sills. Four similar sash windows are located on the first floor. Brick chimneys are positioned at each end of the farmhouse.

The hind’s cottage, situated to the left of the farmhouse, is two storeys high with two bays, supplemented by a single-storey, one-bay extension. It has a renewed house door and ground-floor sash windows. Above are two horizontal sliding sash windows. All openings feature flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Two ridge brick chimneys are present. A farm building extends to the right of the farmhouse and has thin wood lintels over hit-and-miss openings.
