Description

The pump and trough at the end of Little Whittington farmhouse date from the late 18th century. The structure is made of cast iron and stone. The pump features fluted ornamentation, a short curved spout, and a domed cap topped with a finial. It has a long curved handle with an ovoid terminal. The rectangular trough includes an iron bucket rest.
