Description
High Baulk is a farmhouse dated 1734, with an early 19th-century kitchen wing added to the rear and a re-roofing that took place in the late 19th century. The building is constructed from dressed stone and features a Welsh slate roof.
It is two storeys high and has a T-shaped plan. The five-bay front includes a Victorian door set in a bolection-moulded surround with a cornice above. There is a datestone above the door and a mounting for a former sundial. The windows are 8-pane sashes set in raised surrounds. The roof is gabled with overhanging eaves and brick end stacks.
Inside, there is a contemporary open-well staircase with turned balusters and internal shutters.
