Description

East Farm Cottage is a house, originally two cottages, with a 18th-century core that was altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of random rubble, including Roman stone, with a Welsh slate roof and brick chimneys. The house has two storeys and is divided into two sections, one of one bay and the other of two bays. A 20th-century lean-to porch is positioned in the centre, partially covering both sections. The lower left section has a single small four-pane window above the porch. A single-storey lean-to to the left of the porch is part of East Farmhouse, which is a separate listed building. The higher right section features four-pane sash windows. The roof is gabled with flat coping and two end chimney stacks. There are two 16-pane sashes to the rear. The cottage is included on the list because of its group value.
