Description
This former cartshed and granary, located opposite North Farmhouse in Rennington, is a late 19th-century remodelling of an early 19th-century single-storey range. It is constructed from roughly-squared stone with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of five bays. It features an arcade of chamfered segmental arches with part-slatted windows above, all set in alternating-block surrounds with slightly-projecting sills. The left side of the building shows the outline of the gable from the original single-storey range. This structure is included for its group value, as the adjacent single-storey buildings are not of special interest.
