Description

No. 9 Rock Village is a mid-19th century estate cottage constructed from roughly-tooled stone, with squared rubble at the rear and tooled-and-margined dressings. It features a Welsh slate roof and is a single-storey building with two bays. The cottage has a chamfered plinth and a central vertical-panelled door topped with a 6-pane overlight. To the right, there are paired 12-pane sash windows, and to the left, paired 8-pane sashes. All openings are framed in chamfered surrounds and have hoodmoulds. The gable ends are finished with pitched coping on moulded kneelers and have stepped-and-corniced end stacks.
