Description
No. 19 Rock Village is an estate house built in the mid-19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared tooled stone with tooled-and-margined dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has one and two storeys and consists of four bays. The central two bays contain a half-glazed door flanked by a small four-pane casement window on the left and paired twelve-pane sash windows on the right. Above, there are triple four-pane casements set in gabled half dormers. The right end has a stepped-and-corniced stack. The single-storey right bay, which is set slightly back, features a chamfered two-light mullioned window with six-pane casements. The similar left end bay has had its window extended to three lights and has been raised to match the height of the central section. The building is included for its group value.
