Milepost, probably early C20 by Smith Patterson Ltd. of Blaydon. Cast iron, painted white with black figures. Shield-shaped plaque with legend CORNHILL 29 MORPETH 15 set on circular shaft; lower rectangular plate with W (Wooler) 16. Overall height 0.6 metre.
