Description

There are four boundary stones located on the boundary with Edlingham civil parish, likely dating from the 18th century. These stones are made of sandstone and are roughly-shaped rectangular pillars, standing between 0.65 and 0.70 metres high. The stones feature incised letters: an "N" representing the Duke of Northumberland on the south-west side and an "S" for Swinburne on the north-east side.
