Description
This boundary stone, likely from the 18th century, is located on the boundary with Edlingham Civil Parish. Made of sandstone, it is a roughly-shaped rectangular pillar standing 0.55 meters high. The stone features an incised letter "N" representing the Duke of Northumberland on the south-west side and an "S" for Swinburne on the north-east side. It is not marked on the current Ordnance Survey map.
