Description
This pair of boundary stones, likely from the 18th century, is located to the north of the summit of Lamb Hill in Edlingham. They are made of sandstone and stand 20 metres apart. The eastern stone is a tapering pillar that measures 1.0 metre high and has a roughly-segmental top, featuring incised letters "F" on the north side and "S" on the south side. The smaller western stone is made of cut sandstone, has an arched top, and displays an incised letter "M" on the north side, with a plain reverse.
