Description

The yard walls to the east of Middle Moor Farmhouse, likely built in the mid-18th century, are constructed from roughly-squared stone. These walls enclose two small yards in front of the farm buildings, with the western yard wall being roughly coped. Inside each yard, there are stone benches featuring raised blocks that are grooved for feeding racks against the internal face of the eastern wall. Additionally, there is a plain bench against the south wall of the western yard. These walls are included for their group value.
