Description
The stone walls associated with the farm buildings at Wallington Demesne date from the early 19th century. They are made of irregularly-coursed squared stone and feature low walls with flat coping that enclose two yards in front of the hemmel range. A taller wall on the right slopes down to connect with the front wall, which extends to the farm entrance and then returns along the drive to link with the farmhouse. In this last section, there is a rectangular recess that contains an old well. These walls are listed for their group value with the house and farm buildings.
