Description

A planned group of farm buildings dating to around 1800, with later additions in the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of squared, tooled stone, with some areas using squared, tooled-and-margined stone in the gingang. They are roofed with slate. The ranges are arranged around a yard opening to the south, with a gingang attached to the rear of the west range. The north range incorporates shelter sheds with a granary above, and features an arcade of six segmental arches facing into the yard. A threshing barn is located on the west, single storey and with three irregular bays, containing boarded doors and a 20th-century cart entrance. The east range is a two-storey stable block of four bays, with boarded doors and tall overlights. All ranges have reverse-stepped gables. The gingang has five piers set on larger bases and a pyramidal roof. Inside the gingang, the roof structure comprises heavy tie beams, a central post, and radial struts.
