Description

Hartburn's war memorial is located on a small triangular green in the center of the hamlet. It features a War Cross with deeply bevelled edges, which is set on a sturdy, two-stepped base. The south face of the base is inscribed with the words "PASS FRIEND ALL IS WELL/ 1914 HARTBURN 1919," while the north face bears the inscription "1939 HARTBURN 1945."
