Description

HARTBURN HARTBURN NZ 08 NE 9/19 Hindmarsh and Metcalfe headstones east of St. Andrew's church porch GV II Headstones, mid C18. Sandstone. Western has shaped and shouldered top and moulded frame; death's head with crossbones on left and hourglass on right, above inscription to Luke Hindmarsh d.1741. Eastern has curved and shouldered top; east face has cherub over inscription to Ann Metcalfe d.1767, west face has death's head with crossbones to right, over inscription to Dorothy Metcalfe d.1754.
