Description
The Harle headstone, dating from 1737, is located approximately 8.5 meters southeast of the porch of St. Andrew's Church in Hartburn. It is made of sandstone and features a scrolled shaped top with flanking pilasters. The central design includes a death's head above an hourglass, accompanied by an inscription dedicated to Barbara, the wife of George Harle. The reverse side has a similar border that encloses a cherub with crossbones above.
