The Hanlon and Hepple headstones, located 12 meters east of St. Andrew's Church in Hartburn, date from the 18th century and are made of sandstone. The northern headstone features a segmental head with a cherub above the inscription for Joseph Hanlon, who died in 1771, along with additional names. The reverse side displays an open book flanked by an hourglass on the left and crossbones on the right. The southern headstone has a scrolled shaped head with a sunk panel that includes a cherub flanked by lilies, above the inscription for Elizabeth and Robert Heppell, who died in 1743. The reverse side has a shaped sunk panel flanked by plain pilasters, with a death's head on an hourglass above crossbones.
