Description

The Redshaw headstone, located 16 meters east of the porch of St. Andrew's Church, dates from 1751 and is made of sandstone. This low stone features a shaped top with a sunk panel that contains an elaborate flower, which is flanked by cherubs and smaller flowers above. Below this, there is an inscription dedicated to Sarah Redshaw, framed by an enriched moulded border. The reverse side of the headstone displays a floral panel.
