Description
The Winship monuments, located 5 meters south of the chancel of St. Andrew's Church in Hartburn, consist of a headstone from 1742 and a table tomb from 1803. Both are made of sandstone. The tall headstone features a shaped top and depicts a grieving cherub with a veil and swag suspended from death's heads, along with an inscription dedicated to Lionel Winship, who died in 1742. To the east, the table tomb stands on six square moulded legs and includes a large cartouche with shaped scrolled edges that carries an inscription for William Winship, who died in 1803, beneath an urn.
