Description
The Badley and Brown headstones, located 12 meters south of St. Andrew's Church in Hartburn, date from the 18th century and are made of sandstone. The northern headstone is small and features an inscription to Mary Brown, although the date is illegible and likely from the early 18th century. The reverse side displays a recumbent hourglass within an ornate frame. The southern headstone has a shaped head with moulded coping and a cherub above the inscription dedicated to William Badley of Rothley, who died in 1759.
