24/12 Byre and attached privies 10 metres south-south-west of Abbey View

GV II

Byre, probably late C18, attached privies C19. Coursed stone with tooled-and- margined quoins and dressings; stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 1 bay. Boarded door in alternating-block surround with boarded pitching door over. 2-step mounting block to right of door. Gabled right return shows part-slatted window. Lower block of irregular plan, set back to left, with boarded door. To rear attached privy with boarded door, linked by short wall to second similar privy.
