Description
The building is a byre with a hayloft above, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone and has a pantiled roof with stone dressings. The structure is one storey high with a loft and features a lean-to extension at the rear. There is a sliding door located in the west gable end, and a plinth surrounds the building except for the eastern extension. The façade has small, scattered openings and shows signs of weathering from the former lean-to on the south side. The gable ends have copings on square kneelers. The rear elevation includes stone steps leading to the loft door, a boarded door on the ground floor, and three pitching doors above.
