Description
This is a garden boundary wall located approximately 150 yards west of Holeyn Hall. It dates from the mid-19th century and is likely designed by John Dobson. The wall is made of dressed stone and features ashlar coping and a door surround. It stands about 8 feet high and has flat coping. The wall ramps at irregular intervals and ends on the right with a ramped section. There is a doorway that includes a plank door, which is framed by a deliberately asymmetrical alternating block surround and an inclined lintel. There is an additional section of wall to the right that has ridged coping but is not considered of special interest.
