Description

The garden wall to the west of Flotterton House is a Grade II listed structure, built in 1826 by John Dobson. This wall, which was formerly heated, is constructed of brick in English garden wall bond, with ashlar on the rear and an ashlar coping. It measures approximately 100 yards in length and is canted to form three sides of an octagon. In the center section, there is a boarded door set within an alternating-block surround, and the wall features boldly-splayed coping.
