Description
The Manse is a house dating from the late 17th century/early 18th century, altered in the 19th century. It is rendered and has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high plus attics and has two broad bays with a central doorway now within a Victorian porch. The ground floor windows are late 19th-century sash windows. The first-floor windows are early 19th-century tripartite sashes, with the intermediate glazing bars removed.
The left return shows a plinth of irregular boulders and a small square attic window. A lower, two-storey outshut is located to the rear. The roof is very steeply pitched with kneelers and flat coping. There is a Victorian gabled dormer and a rebuilt brick end stack.
The interior includes several two-panelled doors and wattle and daub internal partitions. The roof timbers are not visible.
