Description
Wylam Hills Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century, with a late 20th-century lean-to addition on the left side. The structure features dressed stone on a plinth and a roof made of Lakeland slate. It has a two-bay left wing and a later lean-to constructed of random rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys tall and has three bays plus two bays in the left extension. The main block includes a central flush-panelled door that is deep-set in a plain surround, along with 16-pane sash windows on the front, right return, and rear. The two-bay left extension, which has a lean-to in front, features 20th-century 12-pane sash windows. The roof is gabled with flat coping and has two stone corniced end stacks.
