Description
The United Reformed Church, built around 1890, is constructed of snecked rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The south front consists of three bays, with the outer bays being cross-gabled and slightly projecting from the main wall. These bays contain large, two-light Decorated windows that have hoodmoulds and foliage stops, while the central bay features plain lancets. The entrance, located on the right side, has a central door set in a pointed arch with three broad chamfers, flanked by paired lancets and topped with three stepped lancets that also have a hoodmould and pierced roundels above the side lights. The church has a gabled roof with flat coping and kneelers, and the cross gables are adorned with steeply ridged coping. A slate-covered bell turret sits on the ridge, characterized by a pronounced batter, a pyramidal roof with projecting eaves, and a vane. Additionally, there is a stone, corniced end stack on the left gable.
