Description
The Old Coach Station is a house dating from around 1700, located in Horsley Village. It is constructed of random rubble with a Welsh slate roof and has two storeys with three irregular bays. The almost central doorway features a flattened Tudor arch within a chamfered surround, topped with a hoodmould. The ground-floor windows, which were originally three-light mullioned windows, now have 20th-century casements, and hoodmoulds are present above these windows. On the upper floor, there are three 20th-century casements; the right two are in their original openings, while the left one is a dormer that slightly breaks the eaves. There is also a blocked fire window on the left side. The gabled roof has flat coping and two renewed brick gable stacks.
