Description
No. 3 Bridge End is a house that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is built of random rubble and has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there are four irregularly placed windows and a plank door located second from the left. The left bay features a 12-pane horizontal sliding sash window, while to the right of the door is a 4-light mullioned window, although only the centre mullion remains, creating two 16-pane casements. On the first floor, there are two half-dormer windows, each with 12-pane horizontal sliding sashes. The roof is very steeply pitched and gabled, with one later brick gable stack and narrow raised coping. Inside, the house has old beams. There is a 20th-century kitchen extension at the rear, which is not of special interest.
