Description
The Village Cross is a village cross dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features three broad square steps leading up to the base of the cross. The base consists of a large square block with a chamfered top edge. The shaft of the cross is tapering and has broach-chamfered edges, although the top stone of the shaft has been renewed. The cross head has concave sides to its arms and a ball in the center.
