Description

Mount Huly Farmhouse and the attached farm buildings date from the 18th century, with a barn that was built in the early 19th century and later incorporated into the house, along with alterations made in the early to mid-19th century. The structure is constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is L-shaped, with the house being two storeys high and comprising four bays. The doorway is located in a mid-19th century porch in the second bay, featuring a chamfered surround and a segmental head. The windows are 16-pane sashes set in stop-chamfered surrounds. At the rear, there is an outshut that mainly features 19th century windows, including Yorkshire sashes. The barn was originally free-standing and was only joined to the house in the mid-19th century, at which time two doors with stop-chamfered surrounds were added. The barn has a gabled roof, while the house features flat coping and kneelers. Attached to the rear of the barn is a circular gingang with square stone piers.

Inside the house, there is a two-panelled door in the front room on the ground floor, two-leaf doors, internal shutters, and old beams.
