Description

Moor View is a house, originally two cottages, dating from around 1840 and built for the Duke of Northumberland. It is a single-story, five-bay building with a slightly projecting central bay. The windows are 16-paned sashes with chamfered reveals and hollow-chamfered, shouldered lintels. A door is located at the rear. The roof is hipped, and there is a cross gable over the central bay, featuring kneelers. The property has two tall stone corniced ridge stacks. It is included on the list because of its contribution to the group value of buildings in the area.
